Director of Content, France — Paris

We are looking for an experienced and deeply passionate Director of Content to be a key member of the newly created Paris team. You will be responsible for shaping Acast’s content strategy in France, leading content acquisitions and developing content-related new businesses. Ideally, you will be a real self starter, think creatively, act collaboratively, solve problems strategically and embody a strong passion for spoken-word and audio content. You will be based in our Paris office and report to the Global Head of Content in London.

With audio devices starting to fill our homes and podcasting becoming a mainstream media habit, the opportunity is large and exciting. Software Engineer/Frontend — Stockholm

We are looking for a Software Engineer that has experience with frontend development and building user-friendly, scalable web applications. You will work in an autonomous, purpose-driven team and take an important role in shipping new features while continuously aiming to improve the performance, stability, and scalability of the systems. You are expected to contribute with frontend development within your team but we also encourage everyone to understand and contribute to other parts of the stack. Since we use Node for many of our backend systems, you are expected to work with and be interested in learning that. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary environment with agile principles. We are cloud agnostic and run our infrastructure and systems on Azure, AWS, as well as dedicated servers.

Content Manager for Ireland & U.K — London

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Content Manager to join our UK team in January 2019, and focus on supporting and signing Irish publishers, podcasters and creators as well as supporting the UK content team strategy.

You will be responsible for establishing relations with potential content partners to help us expand our content network, particularly in Ireland. You’ll also manage relationships with our existing podcasters, support their podcast growth and work closely with our commercial teams and colleagues in our global offices. You’ll also spot the potential for new formats and podcast hosts.

As well as a strong knowledge of podcasting and on-demand audio, you’ll be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to commercial opportunities and brands, as well as an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape in Ireland.
