Episode 143 - McCarthy working miracles

After thirteen consecutive years of Championship football, Ipswich Town fans are starting to dream. The Tractor Boys completed an unbeaten November with a last gasp 1-0 win at Charlton on Saturday (their fourth win in five games), which has lifted them into the automatic promotion places. The question is, can they stay there?

We find out more about Mick McCarthy's mini-revolution from Stuart Watson, chief football writer for the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star. Following the latest twist in the Massimo Cellino saga at Leeds United, the boys are also joined by solicitor and sports lawyer Daniel Geey, who has written for The World Sports Law Report and previously appeared on Sky Sports News, the BBC and CNN.

He explains why Cellino has been disqualified by the Football League and asked to resign from his position at Elland Road, despite being free to resume control from March the 18th next year.

In League Two, there's been a change in the dugout at Cheltenham Town, with manager Mark Yates leaving the club last week after five years at the helm. He's swiftly been replaced by ex Torquay and Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle, who started with a 1-1 draw at home to Oxford on Saturday.

We get reaction from BBC Gloucestershire co-commentator Mark Halliwell, who also writes the 'Cheltenham Town Chatter' blog.

There's also the return of Malky Mackay, the departure of Paul Cox and another win for MK Dons to discuss - plus we have three copies of the brand new Football Manager 2015 to give away. Listen in for details of how to win...
