Episode 140 - Managerial mayhem

Six Football League managers have bitten the bullet in just twelve days - Dougie Freedman, Billy McKinlay, Colin Cooper, Russ Wilcox, Rob Edwards and Nigel Worthington have all gone. The boys reconvene to discuss sacking season and a supposedly quiet 'international break'.

There's a new man in charge at the Macron Stadium. Neil Lennon was appointed as the new Bolton boss over the weekend, tasked with reversing a run that has seen the Trotters slump to the foot of the Championship table. We find out where Wanderers have been going wrong with radio host and big Bolton fan Darryl Morris (The Hits Radio). He also tells us how his Mum's trip to Asda went viral two weeks ago...

Elsewhere, we get the verdict on Rob Edwards' departure from Prenton Park with Paul Harper, co-host of the Totally Tranmere podcast - plus Northern Echo sports editor Nick Loughlin fills us in on Colin Cooper leaving Hartlepool.

There's also Jeff Stelling vs Peter Swann (Scunthorpe chairman) to discuss, a special managerial departure 'cliche quiz'... and which Football League player was Mark on the tube with yesterday? All will be revealed.
