Episode 123 - Stay up Pompey?

Following yet another tumultuous season in the life of Portsmouth Football Club, Saturday March 29th 2014 could prove to be a turning point. After sacking their manager Richie Barker during the week, Pompey registered a 2-1 victory against Newport County at Rodney Parade, their first win in seven games, which lifted them five points clear of the League Two relegation zone.

 

It was a first win this time around for new caretaker (and Portsmouth academy) boss Andy Awford, but the club are by no means safe yet - especially with relegation rivals Northampton to play in a few weeks time.
