Verity Smith

Transgender rugby player Verity 'Vez' Smith has played the highest level of club rugby in both league and union, but his decision to transition 18 months ago has led to abuse on and off the pitch, and even physical assault. He talks about a life in rugby and how it was all turned upside down by his decision to live his life how he wanted.
