I had a lovely conversation with Andrea Kowch in Michigan. Andrea paints figurative paintings with a kind of magical realism. She has received numerous Best of Show awards, and her work has been showcased in Museums and galleries across America. In 2012 Scope NYC named her one of the top 100 emerging artists in the world.
