Content Manager UK – London

Acast is the world leading technology platform for on-demand audio and podcasting with offices in Stockholm, London, New York, Los Angeles, and Sydney. We have over 120M monthly listens today, and are growing rapidly

The Role:

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Content Manager to join our UK team. You will be responsible for establishing relations with potential content partners to help us expand our content network, as well as managing relationships with our existing podcasters – both publishers and independent podcasters. You’ll support their podcast growth and work closely with our commercial teams and colleagues in our global offices.

As well as a strong knowledge of podcasting, you’ll be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to commercial opportunities and brands, as well as an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape.

Ideally, you have a creative mind, highly organised and personable. Most importantly – you must love podcasts. You will be based in our London office and report to the UK Director of Content.

What you’ll do:

  • Recruit, negotiate and implement contractual relationships with content providers
  • Establish and manage high-level relationships with current and future content partners – both publishers and independent podcasters
  • Help creators and publishers shape their podcast strategy and grow audiences.
  • Provide marketing support and creative direction to new creators
  • Guide and assist content partners with integration into our systems

  • In an ideal candidate we envision the following competencies and personal characteristics:
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of the UK podcast market and audio industry
  • Excellent pitching, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to negotiate agreements
  • Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills
  • Highly organised and capable of managing many different projects at once
  • Team player that is collaborative, creative and highly motivated
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Some experience in audio production, journalism, digital media, marketing or branded content is a plus
  • Degree Educated (preferred but not essential)

We are a flat organization that works towards enabling teams to make the best possible decisions rather than having decisions made for them. We believe in autonomy and a culture of continuous improvement
