Content Manager – Oslo

About the Role:

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Content Manager to help us get Acast’s
Norwegian office up and running in Oslo!

You will be responsible for establishing relations with potential content partners to help us
expand our content network, as well as managing relationships with our existing podcasters –
both publishers and independent podcasters. You’ll support their podcast growth and work
closely with our commercial teams and colleagues in our global offices.

As well as a strong knowledge of podcasting, you’ll be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to
commercial opportunities and brands, as well as an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast

Ideally, you have a creative mind, highly organised and personable. Most importantly – you must
love podcasts. You will be based in the new Oslo office and report to the Nordics Director of


Key Responsibilities

Specifically, the successful candidate will,

  • Recruit, negotiate and implement contractual relationships with existing and potential Norwegian
    content providers (publishers and independents, as well as content/influencer networks)
  • Establish and manage high-level relationships with current and future content partners – both
    publishers and independent podcasters
  • Help creators and publishers shape their podcast strategy and grow audiences
  • Provide marketing support and creative direction to new creators
  • Guide and assist content partners with integration into our systems
  • Represent Acast in all situations on the market



In an ideal candidate we envision the following competencies and personal characteristics:

  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of the Nordic podcast market and audio industry
  • Excellent pitching, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to negotiate agreements
  • Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management and communication
  • Highly organised and capable of managing many different projects at once
  • Team player that is collaborative, creative and highly motivated
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Some experience in audio production, journalism, digital media, marketing or branded content is
    a plus
  • Degree Educated (preferred but not essential)
