Geektown Radio 139: 'The Goldbergs' Composer Michael Wandmacher, UK TV News & UK TV Air Dates!

As we all huddle around the fireplace to escape the wintery weather this week, what better way to pass the time, than to pop on Geektown Radio and catch up with the latest tv news, film info, and listen to an exclusive interview with composer Michael Wandmacher!

Michael is an American composer of music for film, television, and video games. His work is an interesting eclectic mix of genres, from films such as 'Drive Angry', ‘Piranha 3D’, ‘Punisher: War Zone’, and 'Ben 10: Alien Swarm' to tv shows such as 'Imaginary Mary', and ‘Night Stalker’ to games like ‘Bloodborne’, and ‘Twisted Metal’. His latest 2 projects are equally polar opposites, as his main tv show day job is providing the music for 80’s period sitcom ‘The Goldbergs’, whilst his latest movie project is Underworld: Blood Wars’, which he takes over from composers Paul Haslinger and Marco Beltrami.

If working in tv, film and gaming wasn’t enough, Michael also performs as remixer under the pseudonym "Khursor", remixing popular songs into more cinematic versions for use on tv and film. Below is an example of a remix he did for Sting's ‘Every Breath You Take’, which was featured on the trailer for the 3rd season of 'The Americans'.
