China creates the world's largest chemicals group

Two giant Chinese groups, ChemChina and Sinochem, are planning to merge next year, creating the world’s largest chemicals group. This follows ChemChina’s purchase of Swiss agrochemicals leader Syngenta, amid more consolidation of the global agrochemicals industry.
