A tumultuous week for biotechs

Hillary Clinton, the Democratic front runner in the race for the White House, pledged this week to crack down on the growing cost of prescription drugs and out of pocket medical expenses in the United States after Turing Pharmaceuticals announced that it was hiking the price of the drug Daraprim from $13.50 to $750 a pill.
