Just before Christmas the Lions were sitting in 19th position in the Championship with no more realistic aim than to ‘consolidate’ their position in the higher division, probably in the lower half of the table.

Well nearly four months on and an incredible unbeaten run now stretching to 15 games has put us within a point of the play-offs and massive games at Bolton midweek, play off contenders Sheffield United next Saturday and then Fulham at home.

With both Middlesbrough and Aston Villa to conclude this incredible roller coaster ride, fate lies in our own hands as we hit the business end of proceedings.

Whatever becomes of Millwall, the achievements of this squad under club legend Neil Harris will live long in the memory.
